by the founding of the Safavid dynasty in 1501, Iranians established a new great Empire once more after 700 years. Tabriz and Qazvin were the first and the second capital of the Empire.finally in 1050 the capital transferred to Isfahan. The king has ordered to construct a huge complex in Isfahan before his movement from Qazvin to Isfahan.
Isfahan has expanded very fast after this event by constructing palaces, bridges, mosques, cathedrals etc.most of these sites are UNESCO world heritage sites that make Isfahan as one of the most important tourist destinations in Iran.
This Isfahan city tour will start by visiting Hasht-Behesht palace which means eight heavens as its open to a beautiful garden from eight sides.we will walk to the Naghshe-Jahan square as the second biggest square in the world to see the square and all the monuments around. Isfahan Bazaar, Alighau palace as the governmental hall of Isfahan during the Safavid dynasty, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque as the private mosque of the court and the royal mosque as the main mosque are all the sites we would visit around this huge square. finally, we can visit the Chehel Sotoun( Forty pillars) palace which has been constructed for entertainment and receptions.
