since Iran is located in the dry part of the earth and its surrounded by the high mountain ranges, the centre of Iran deprived of precipitation systems. this is why the 80 per cent of Iran is dry and semi-dry with the precipitation of 50 to 250 millimetres per year.  The two major deserts of Iran are 1) Dasht-e-Kavir and 2) Dasht-e-Lut. in this Iran desert tour we go to explore Dasht-e-Kavir which is located between Isfahan, Yazd, Khorasan and Semnan.

DAY 1) leaving the Isfahan in the early morning. driving 146 km to the Nain town to see the Nain Jame mosque as one of the oldest mosques in Iran. then driving 4.5 hours to the Mesr village, enjoying the village and spending the night in a local guest house.

DAY 2)exploring the Mesr village and walking to the Farahzad village to see their fabulous desert architecture and lifestyle and see their water reservoirs and their camel stables. also, walking in the dunes around the villages.

In the afternoon going to the depth of the desert with 4WD car.we can climb the highest dune of the area for taking picture from its nice view, watching a canebreak in the desert and visiting a legendary salty river in the desert.

later, going to an appropriate place to see the sunset and camping. afterwards, making fire, cooking our dinner on the fire and watching the stars in the clear sky of the desert.

finally, waking up in the early morning to see the sunrise, having breakfast and return to the guest house for taking shower and checking out.

DAY 3) Driving to the Khur and Biabanak salt lake to see its fascinating polygons salt shapes. then driving to the Garmeh village to see its gardens and its famous water fountain which coming out from a red mountain.the water is full of small fishes. the fishes touch your skin if you put your legs in the water for a while and without any movement!

ultimately, turn back to the Isfahan or driving to next city Yazd or any other destination according to your request.

note: we also can visit the Bayazeh village and its citadel if you are going to the Yazd az your next destination.
