A Journey of Earth, Art, and Soul
Our 14-day Iran tour is designed for those who seek the extraordinary. We’ve meticulously crafted this itinerary to include the “Golden Triangle” of Persia—the essential classic route covering Tehran’s museums, Isfahan’s stunning squares, Yazd’s ancient mud-brick alleys, and Shiraz’s poetic gardens. But what makes this journey truly legendary is the addition of the raw, untouched beauty of Kerman and the Lut Desert.
From Desert Citadels to Lush Oases
What sets this 14-day Iran tour apart is the deep exploration of Southeast Iran. After visiting the architectural masterpieces of Isfahan and Shiraz, we head to Kerman to witness the Rayen Citadel, the world’s second-largest mud-brick structure. You will also experience the Shazdeh Garden in Mahan—a breathtaking UNESCO-listed Persian garden that stands as a lush, green miracle in the heart of the arid desert.
The Magic of the Lut Desert
The pinnacle of your adventure will undoubtedly be the Lut Desert. Walking among the surreal Kaluts (yardangs) at sunset is a spiritual experience and often the most memorable highlight for our travelers. From the silent, sun-scorched dunes of the desert to the vibrant, tile-covered mosques of the cities, this 14-day Iran tour perfectly balances the natural majesty and the 2,500-year-old cultural legacy of Iran.
Why Start from Shiraz? (A Strategic & Immersive Choice)
We have carefully structured this itinerary starting from Shiraz to ensure a more relaxed and immersive pace. This route offers several key advantages for a richer travel experience:
– Extra Time for Hidden Gems: By traveling from South to North, we gain more flexibility to explore the fascinating attractions between Kerman and Yazd—ancient Silk Road sites that deserve more than just a quick drive-by.
– The Traditional House Experience: This planning allows for an overnight stay in Kashan, giving you the chance to experience the unique charm of staying in a traditional Persian house, a highlight of Iranian hospitality and architecture.
– A Balanced Finish in Tehran: You will have a full day and a half at the end of the trip to explore the capital. This provides ample time to visit Tehran’s grand museums and vibrant landmarks at a comfortable pace before your flight home.
Crafted from years of expertise, this is our most recommended route for 14 days. However, we believe every traveler is unique; feel free to customize any part of this journey to perfectly match your pace and interests.
